Our assembled team of orthopedic surgeons address your joint problems with the confidence built by years of experience. They have each chosen to specialize in one or more areas of the body. They all ascribe to the position that you want to keep your own joint for as long as possible. Therefore your treatment may begin very conservatively, with medications, physical therapy, or assistive devices.
Medications include oral or topical anti-inflammatory and pain medications such as analgesics or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) available over the counter or in prescription strength.
Injectables may be recommended, such as corticosteroid treatments for temporary relief of inflammation and pain or hyaluronic acid for temporary relief of symptoms.
A course of exercise or more structured physical therapy may be prescribed. Even if you are progressing toward surgery, pre-op physical therapy can prepare you for the best possible surgical outcome by strengthening the muscles that support your joints.
At The Joint Care Center we offer Cold Laser Therapy, and a host of non-invasive treatments designed to increase your mobility and relieve your pain.
We are also heavily invested in the future of health care and are growing our Regenerative Medicine Program.
